Nieuwsuur sprak met Trump-criticus John Bolton en met Trump-loyalist Roger Stone: de een ziet Trump als losgeslagen wild, de ander ziet een president die niet ver genoeg gaat. John Bolton schrikt niet gauw meer van zijn oude baas.

De voormalig Veiligheidsadviseur kent Trump goed, weet als geen ander hoe het is om als bondgenoot van de sokkel te worden gegooid. Kort na zijn inauguratie zette Trump een streep door Boltons beveiliging van de Secret Service, een half jaar later stond de FBI bij hem op de stoep.
